At the Heart of England Aeromodellers (HOEA), we guarantee the answer to the first question is ‘yes,’ and the second is an emphatic ‘no.’ We regularly host Club Nights and fly-ins that draw members from across Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, and Warwickshire. Here is what you can expect when you visit us. The Pit Talk The heart of any club night isn’t in the air; it’s in the pits. You’ll find members gathered around our newly updated charge bench, sharing a thermos of tea, and discussing everything from the latest telemetry systems to the best way to cover a balsa wing. A Mix of Models Our flight line is incredibly diverse. You might see a cutting-edge 3D electric aerobat parked next to a lovingly restored 1970s glow-powered retro model. Helicopters, drones, foamies, and giant-scale gas planes – all are welcome. A Helping Hand Having engine trouble? Not sure about your center of gravity?
